Sharknado 2: The Second One Recap: A Storm of Ridiculousness
In case you forgot, our hero's name is Fin Shepard because it's a shark movie, and Selachimorpha Shepard just sounds ridiculous. As we pick up with Fin and April, they're on a plane getting harassed for an autograph by a fangirl flight attendant, played by Kelly "I don't care if my purple hair is not regulation" Osbourne. Fin already seems on edge - like, disappointed by Hilary Duff's new single-level testy. Once back on solid ground, Fin is deeply concerned about April, who lost a lot of blood, and - even worse - is being treated at a hospital by Billy Ray Cyrus. Lives are lost, damage is done and Fin is almost eaten by a shark. The first doesn't work because, according to Fin, the sharks in New York are "Tougher." City sharks, if you will - nothing like those lazy west coast sharks probably living off of daddy's trust fund. At a shelter, Fin runs into the New York mayor, who pledges all of the city's resources to Fin, saying "This is the Big Apple; when something bites us, we bite back." Unless it's bed bugs - in which case, you're on your own. "I'm a New Yorker now," Fin declares.
