No Actual Guitars Were Smashed in OSU Marching Bands Classic Rock Tribute
Ohio State University's marching band is known for its complicated routines that are just as much about what you see on the field as what you hear. During Saturday's matchup against Rutgers University, the OSU's Buckeyes played some of classic rock's biggest hits. Fans were treated to The Who's "Pinball Wizard," while the band formed a pinball machine, as well as The Edger Winter Group's "Frankenstein" complete with a shambling monster, among other vintage hits. The marching band finished its set by recreating a stick figure smashing a guitar to the tune of Kiss' "Rock and Roll All Nite.". The Buckeyes have a history of eye-catching performances, including tributes to music from video games, movies and television theme songs. Have something to add to this story?
