11 film sequels that dont exist but probably should
Dumb and Dumber To marks the third film in that universe, there will be roughly 1,000 super hero movies released in the next 10 years and almost every studio has a major franchised reboot in the works. An art exhibition in Los Angeles called "Sequel" aims to give viewers a glimpse of what could have been, or could soon be, by featuring posters for movie sequels that don't actually exist. Think of it like the ghosts of Hollywood yet to come. While some of the posters are a tongue-in-cheek commentary on franchises selling out, others are actually pretty appealing. Imagine a world in which we got a second adventure with the Goonies, Totoro or Beetlejuice. The posters themselves were created by nearly 50 artists, with each giving their own interpretation on what type of film the sequel would be. The exhibit is being extended until Nov. 30 in iam8bit's Los Angeles gallery. Have something to add to this story? Share it in the comments.
