Shoppers are set to spend £451,00 every minute, industry body IMRG has predicted, resulting in £650 million in sales by the end of the day. Amazon is running special deals every ten minutes throughout the day, including compact cameras and wireless routers, headphones and microphones at 12.10pm and speakers at 1.10pm. Game is selling the Xbox One and PS4 for £299 and cutting the cost of some top games, including Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Destiny at 3pm. Audio specialists Richer Sounds have reduced many of their speakers and TVs. They're selling a 50-inch flatscreen LG TV for £499 until midnight tonight. Tesco have dropped prices on tablets, and are offering iPads for £289. John Lewis have priced the iPad Mini at £149 until stocks run out. Motorola's Moto X phone might not be out yet, but you can secure £100 off the price by registering today. Zavvi is promising up to 80% off and has a range of DVDs and games at lowered prices. Black Friday fully established itself in the British calendar last week, with scenes of chaos at many supermarkets as shoppers scrabbled for a deal. Sebastian James, CEO of DIxons Carphone plc, tweeted his glee at the level of commerce the following day.
